I see many fish go by the common name Snowflake eel and I'm looking for the right one to add to my brackish tank. The one I'm looking to buy is Echidna nebulosa.

I treat my tank as a euryhaline habitat in that with each weekly 10-20% water change I increase the salinity until it reaches 1.018 then I go back down until it reaches 1.008. That takes about two months of water changes to go to either extreme. But the point is I want the RIGHT Snowflake eel to fit with this theme.

Other inhabitants are Target Fish (Terapon Jarbua) Dogface puffer, Scats (silver until I can find some nice rubies) and a FW Moray G. Tile along with some columbian sharks in a 6' long tank.

Everything I just read when I searched that species suggests you should keep it in or near full marine. According to FishBase, it isn't even found in brackish environments.

I have never heard of a snowflake eel of any kind living in brackish conditions. Echidna nebulosa the snowflake moray eel is to be kept in full saltwater conditions...

yea they go from brackish to marine as they age but all the fish you listed could go full marine
