I was thinking about getting a snowflake eel, but I was wondering what size tank they need as an adult. The tank I have is a 20 tall, that I just set up. Also does anyone have pics of theirs? Thanks for your help!

That tank will be way to small for them. I would say 75 minimum for adults and saltwater too.

For a snowflake, it will be too small. You could make a cool reef tank though? or were you looking for just fish?

Im planning on doing a FOWLR for now, but in a few months I will most likely buy some coral, and maybe an anemone, since I plan on getting a clownfish

If you are new to salt, just do FOWLR and the clowns, don't worry about the corals yet. Especially not the anenomes, they are for experts and the clowns don't even need them. If you had a snowflake eel and a clown together, then you would have a snowflake eel.

I wouldn't say don't do corals, there are plenty of easier corals to look after, just do your research on them first :)

Ya ive been reading about some corals, plus Ive got 2 friends that live by me who do salt, but I want to just have FOWLR so I can get some experience. Ive kept freshwater for a long time, and I probly wouldnt have started salt if I didnt know some people that could help me.

Your 20 gallon is much too small for a snowflake eel unless it's only around 6" long and you are upgrading within a couple months. If you cant support your eel then stick with the clowns. Rule of thumb when dealing with fish that need larger systems is that if you cant get the proper size tank then don't get the animal. I have a 3 foot zebra moray in a 150 and I consider it the right size tank for the animal.
