So about Cownose rays

So i have been wondering about keeping cownose rays? Cant find much care info on them anywhere. Looking to have a couple for a up coming reef project.

You would need a public aquarium-sized tank. They migrate through the New Jersey shore and I swim with them in the ocean every year. last year the water was thick with them and you could see big shoals of them in the waves, very cool. They get huge.

How much is a good sized aquarium for them? the plan is 50,000gallons

Well, I would think 50,000 gallons would be large enough. On the care for the species, I have no idea, I don't believe they are often kept in captivity. If anyone would know... maybe thebiggerthebetter ?

No, not me. I only keep freshwater fish. And out of these, I ignore any rays.

In general, I'd recommend reading up on them and also finding people that can give you a solid, firsthand advice.

It could be hard, I've never heard of anyone keeping cownose rays but I don't cross with marine keepers much at all.

I have a little bit of firsthand experience on DIY large tanks.
