so cal - pbass babies at LFS

Heya Everyone:

I've had a hard time finding p-bass babies around my neighborhood, but I came across a LFS that had a load of them today. (Think there are like about 30-40 of them.) I just picked up about 4 more babies. I think they may be monos, but im not sure. The store is selling them for $9.99 each or 2 for $14.99.

Its in the Hacienda Heights / La Puente, Ca. area.

Hey i was just there 15 min ago aha. The writing on the tank said Temensis so are you sure they're mono's?

Hmmm.. perhaps. When i was there yesterday, it was just labeld "peacock bass". I asked one of the staff if they were monos or tems, and she said.. "probably the first one.." lol. Since the price was pretty cheap, i figure it was likely a mono. <shurg> .. haha. But honestly.. i hope you are right. Then it'd be a pretty decent deal i must say.

Yeah.. i'll try to get a pic up later tonight. Hopefully, we'll all figure this out. hehe. Gotta find my stinking camera.

I guess i was able to find my camera a lot faster than I thought. Anyhow here is a picture of the new babies i picked up. The closer shots didn't come out too well, so this is the best one I was able to take. Tems have a horizontal line all the way thru, whereas monos don't right? (Im not sure.. just trying to remember how to tell the difference.) Anyhow, hope this helps!

Definately not Tems. I had the same issue with another lfs But I can't complain for Pbass at $6.99

yeah those are monos, the tems do have the line going across them horizontaly

Im soo headed there. My LFS doesnt offer discounts on multi order... And that just it they have to be order with a 50% deaf rate
