hey guys, been thinking about selling off a large portion of my bichir collection, wondering if there was still a viable market for them here in so cal. if not i think i might just hold on to them, some of them were hard as hell to source, anywho ,where my socal peeps at?

To be honest it's not as popular as it use to be an also depending on the size too some people don't/can't get bigger size fish if u look at the marketplace people can't move there's

Yeah I think its definitely harder to sell bichirs now than a couple years ago. Some bichirs I've seen on the marketplace go unsold for 3-4 weeks or more. I think a lot of fishkeepers have moved on to more trendy type of fish like peacock bass.

I hate peacock bass! But I agree. Polys are losing their popularity here in socal. Im Guilty of selling of most of mine recentlyand it wasn't easy

idk bout everyone else but i will always love polypterus haha i guess its because we ran out of "new species" and varients. unlike Japan.

lol i hate it now everyone is selling of their polys in socal and it seems to me there is like no on in texas that is selling them. So just for gags i go to the market place and i find a poly has everything perfect except for how far away it is..........
