Ok i have been planning on upgrading my 75g to a 125 or larger in the spring. well today i find out i am getting a $720 bonus!!!! this could buy my tank and filter......BUT (and there is always a but). There is no room for it until spring when i either move to a bigger place or convert my garage (so sayeth the wifey):( :(

so i will sit here and drink some beer and settle for a Springfield XD .45 instead:naughty: ........oh well

Your money would be better spent on a Glock 21 anyway.:D

Check this out, G21 torture test. This has gone around the gun forums many times, so advance apologies are offered if you've already seen it....

that nuts man!

never shot the glock 21 but i have fired a glock 19, 23, and whatever the .357 model is (30 something). But i fell in love with the XD .45 in july when a buddy of mine brought it over. he is now going to sell it to me for $350 cause he is having another kid and wants to thin out his gun stock some!!! lucky me

For $350, I'd pick it up too.:D

(And then sell it for $450 and get another Glock.) :D

haha this is one gun on my collection list that i am trying to build.

so far got a .22 marlin 60, .22 mossberb140k (antique) 20gauge mossberg 500, sks, M1 garand .308, adding the XD .45

and planning on adding, some sort of 9mm, a 12 gauge, another sks/ak, a target/long range 308/30.06 and whatever else i can pick up.

ok, MAYBE this is just me in the gold old So Cal talking... But $720 can buy a tank a HELL of a lot bigger then a 125....

For that I could easily pick up a few 180's, or a 240 + 180, or maybe a really nice 300.

Granted they aren't just lying around waiting to be purchased it takes a bit of looking and patience :D

yeah dude... $720 will pick you up a 200+ gallon and some freebies thrown in probably. at least in socal... :D

don't get the gun... save the money and put it into a savings acount. that should become around $730 or so when you take it out :D

man i thought stuff was more expensive in california than on the east coast..... or is stuff like this just cheaper?

More people keep fish in southern california then... anywhere..

BIG time reef community here.. Tanks are a dime a dozen around here. My problem isn't the cost of a tank, its the size, lots of houses don't have the room : (
