So confused

ok so I’ve posted a lot here soon and I thought I knew it all and somehow something always baffles me so I have this auratus that I thought was a male with a few females in the tank but I swear to you this male is holding eggs or it’s a she that somehow changed color completely I am so freaken confused right now and if she is a female is she just holding un fertilized eggs or what my mind is blown I’ve literally lost my mind it’s gone lmao . If you see at the end you can see it’s underside I’m not a expert so I can’t tell but someone might please help and another thing to add he she is going up that rock u see and vibrating he she tail and gently touching the rock I haven’t seen breeding between two cichlids in person but he she is doing it by he she self confusing and he she is very aggressive now chasing everyone im just so confused idk if I can link this yet since I can’t upload the video here just lmk if i can’t and I’ll edit and take it down but I really want to figure this out cause I don’t have the room for fry right now and would like to find a breeder that could take her

Huh. It may not be actually mouthbrooding. It could have been either eating something, flaring, or had something lodged in the mouth. I'm not sure.

Yeah it’s certainly a head scratcher I have been looking and trying to see it seems fine but I’m gunna try and get him or her out today and get the final answer but I would still appreciate it if anyone knows the thing that just has me puzzled is the color cause it’s a pure breed from a breeder and has a spot on it’s back fin inless the female can color up and mimic and egg spot too that would just be absolutely amazing

Well sorry I haven’t updated it’s been crazy but it was a female and pure breed melocomis and the male was also a pure breed melo so I found a breeder to take her for the time being since I don’t have another tank she can go in with them besides my quarantine but I don’t wunna do that but yeah just wanted to update ya guy looks like she had 27 eggs so
