The water levels below the dam I fish at is PERFECT right now. I get off in two hours and like a true fanatic I have my rods and gear at all times just in case!

I plan to fight Stripers, hybrids, white bass, buffalo, drum, flatheads, channel cats, blue cats, skipjack, shad, big head carp, Hi-fin buffalo, sauger, LMB, SMB, and maybe even the occasional snagged (on accident) paddle fish until my arms feel like jello!

WooHoo! :headbang2

Eh, I guess instead of making a pointless thread I can ask a question.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap safe way to take digital pictures even though I will be wading? I catch all kinds of big fish but I only keep the small hybrids, white bass, and sauger to eat and frankly they arent too picture worthy. I cant bring my digi cam out or else itd get wet.

Sounds like a sweet spot! You could bring a cheap waterproof disposible, develop those pictures, then take pictures of those pictures with your digital. Did that make any sense? lol.

Depends on your camera.. look on ebay and there is a water proof bag for most point and shoot cameras. Only like $30 I think.

you can buy inexpensive new/used cameras under $50. Heck, I saw an old digital at a yard sale for $6 that worked fine.

Problem is, it will get wet. I usually stand in about thigh deep water but I have to cross a channel that is about chest deep. Plus standing on slipper rocks with current pushing as hard as it does WILL result in a fall or two at least!
