Have heard that for bio filter, tough to beat. Anyone have any idea how to size them? Did a DIY fbdf on my own with 3lbs of dry sand. What would that compare to? Also have 16lbs of biohome ultra cintered glassin baskets to flow through then 3 gallons of K1 dancing in a sump chamber. Mechanical is 2 4x14" 200 micron socks. The sand filter is recirculating in the sock chamber using 270gph powerhead. I have room for a second one or should i go big with an Eheim 1260 I have laying around?
