I used to have an aquatop canister filter running on the top 40 gallon. I drained it a long time ago and the tubes quick disconnect from the canister. The tubes were still in the tank connected to the canister. My mom decided that she wanted to put the canister outside so she disconnected the tubes and took the canister outside. This happened about a month ago. She took the tubes off of the tank and put them sideways so the water stayed in them and sat them right on top of where my air pumps are and where my power strip is. The pond is partially drained and i am going to install a priming pot and fix the filter. Since the filter is not running, i went inside to grab a spare air pump. All of the water in the canister lines drained out onto the power strip. I hope that it did not kill my aquaclear 70. My mom was in the back yard so i went out to talk to her about the canister lines and she got really mad at me and denied it even though i remember her doing it. She told me that she drained the canister lines when she did put them there about a month ago. It would have been best if she had not touched the canister. It was not running because the top tank was empty.
