So got my first PBB today and have a question

So when looking at the PBB his fins a little damaged etc will heal up in time but I’ve noticed some like white skin kind of thing that comes up out it’s face and goes by his eye; anyone got any ideas?

When there’s a membrane dangling from an eye. It’s usually an injury or from a head bite from another bichir. It’ll happen during feedings from time to time.

Don’t look like much near the eye. Water changes and low nitrates should clear that up. If it’s wild caught I’d dose prazipro.

Kind of a weird angle to the picture... looks almost like an anchor worm
