I had to drain my entire tank and take all of the fish out and put in holding tank. Then i filled the tank 150 gallons back up. But i didnt clean the filters i have 2 xp3 an fx 5 and an over flow. Does the tank need to recycle. Can the fish go back in when the heat gets back up thanks

If u refilled with dechlor water then ur bb lived as long as the bb didnt dry out too long. Keepvur filters running and do ammonia/nitrite test!

In the future I would recommend moving your filters to the temp tank when you move the fish. Then move them back when you move the fish back. I would also recommend moving some of the tank water with the fish.
I would expect to see a mini cycle. The beneficial bacteria lives throughout your tank not just in your filters. When you move everything around like you did your filters will hopefully maintain a seed colony of bacteria to speed the cycling process but it is still going to take a while for it to propagate throughout your tank.
