So here comes the trouble as far as i know i need filter here and here(in pic) Do i need one in my overflow? also the rest of the pics can been seen here.....http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35947

Ps. I know one is filter media, what is the other one? I looked on ebay it looked like a blue sponge? Could i use the pot scubbers there?

This filter is not so much a mechanical as a biological one

As you marked in the first pic, a filter mat. can goe on top of the drip plate to keep from clogging up the bio-balls.

The large empty space to the right is the return part of the sump where a pump would go to return water to the tank. You could install a pump and then fill to the water line (anything over that in this part would be wasted) with scrubbies for extra bio-mass.

I think your going to have a nice set-up when your done. Good catch.
