thanks - the setup is only temporary and is under the stand for my future tank - £200 = $313

black arow's are my favourite - i have to try and justify the price of this fish to my wife. doubt i could explain spending double that on a fish lol

Holy crap, are blacks always expensive in Europe? I tried selling my 5-6" black for $140 and there was no takers, in fact someone actually offered $30...

So a cheap asian costs $600? How much do silvers usually cost? What about jardinis?

i have seen blacks advertised for £100 but this is from internet vendors where im unable to physically see the fish plus they are considerably smaller - mine was from my lfs where i have seen it grow over the last couple months.

Silvers cost upwards of £30 for a 7" specimen

Jars are about the same £30-£50

Asians cost upwards of £500 in the shops less if buying privately but this depends on the type of asian - i recently saw an asian for sale at £1250 - originally purchased @£12500 yes thats right £12500 (im sure it was by a member on here actually- jake casson)

I paid $220 for my 7" black aro. I think it depends on area and demand of fish. The ones on aquabid were selling for about $150 of similar size but you had to pay shipping and risk an unstable fish.
