my RTC wont eat them. I think they may just be too small for him. I can go back to giving him frozen but its just such a mess to do. I ran out of shrimp one day and he was really hungry so I gave him some lean beef and he loved it. Then I got the idea. What if I mashed up some pellets and mixed it in with the ground lean beef. Wouldnt this add all the nutrition of the pellets in a form of something that he can eat? The fat content wouldnt be too high because its like 97% lean beef. It seems like a healthy diet to me. And now that I think of it, I could probably cut up some veggies and throw that in there too. Would this work?

personally I wouldn't be feeding too much mammal-based food (beef) to fish. Why not use tilapia from the supermarket to go along with shrimp.

I was suggesting the beef because I can actually mash the veggies and pellets into the beef and make it like large pellets.

That is not the type of protien or fat that fish should have. The tilapia is a better idea.

What kind of pellets did you get? Massivore should be plenty large enough.

Theyre just top fin sinking shrimp pellets.

Try sinking carnivore pellets or massivore.
