What should I do with it ? It had a minor crack not all the way through the glass so I filled the tiny crack with super glue and used 2 pieces of glass one on each side and over siliconed it on. Its an ugly fix but I figured it would be ok as chances are its not going to be used for a diy project. I have a 55 thats already filtered damn well by an ac 110 an eheim 2215 and a top fin 60 HOB and an under gravel.
I got a hundred gallon in the garage waiting for my fish to grow out the 55 but I figured I could get started on making a nice filter out of the 15 for the 100 gallon. Is it big enough ? What would you do ? This would be my first DIY sump or wet dry

Also this wont be the only filter. It will probably have 2 - AC110

sorry wet/dry. Sump would take some work lol

Lol I see you are loving the AC's now. I was reading another thread you had about debating whether to buy one or not.

I would probably use a bigger tank for the sump. This size would work but you could always go bigger.

Yup ! Loving the AC my 55 has an ac110 and a eheim 2215 and an under gravel (Soon to be just pvc jets like in the link you showed me ) and the water is crystal clear :)

 undergravel filter + undergravel jets... haha wow, your tank has so much filtration you could probably drink the water from there. Sounds like the 20 gal I have set up... two AC 200's. My water is crystal clear. I am thinking of adding those underwater jets, but I would be worried about the amount of current in my aquarium. Wish I had room for a bigger tank though. I have a powerhead, just need the PVC now. I have my sen in the 20 right now with some livebearers (food) want to fatten him up and get a larger tank.

How do you plan on adding those undergravel jets? With your fish in the aquarium?

Im gonna remove the under gravel and then do the under gravel jets. I have the visualization skills to put it all together (outside the tank) plus no need for glue its all submerged anyway. I got a maxi jet 300 gph if that doesn't do it I can always add another power head. :)
