i threw a piece of market shrimp in there and he ate it right away. is it a good idea to keep him on it? he is about 2"

I'd keep him on market shrimp, and maybe the occasional earth worm here and there ... Hope you have a big tank/pond!

You do relize your only going to be able to keep him for 4-5 months max...

Yeah I did some research b4 I got him 5 months is.more then enough I just want the experience
