i am seeing some nice 125 set ups for like 700 .. which is kinda high .. so i bet that the prices are going to be a little high .. but if you keep you eyes open .. and ears .. you might find a good deal at some point .. and check with the other vegas members and maybe they have something for sale ...

On the Contrary, I found deals like this: http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/for/1620711003.html It may be big enough but I'm unsure of the footprint, sounds like it has everything but a sump and is $400.

Ouch, if thats for Freshwater I'm thinking a Saltwater is gonna be $1,000+ so a Ray might be unfortunately out of my range.

there is a good chance that it is going to be ... but you dont have to get the ray today .. the good thing about keeping fish is you get to get a little here and a little there ..

so you could get a SW set up .. and get a few fish .. and then later go about the rays .. you might find that salt is not even what you want to do .. you might want to do fresh at some point ..

Well, I'm finding great deals on Craigslist for 125 gallons with lights, heaters, and some even have filters, but if I'm going to need it for Saltwater what other things are needed. Special sumps or anything? I'm not sure if Salt uses the same filters or not.

Yeah, I've got some stuff I have been trying to unload I might put on craigslist or try to trade out for some cash or fish stuff just to get some tanks going whether they hold rays or not. Two old laptops, a palm-pilot, an old monitor, and maybe my guitar we will see how it all goes...

well i hope things work out for ya ... since the site is geared more to the fresh water side .. less SW people are around ALL of the time ... but then they do get on .. they are REALLY helpful .. reefman is amazing .. talk to them and get an idea .. its best to have a solid plan then start buying things .. and set it up ..

If you want to keep rays your are going to need good skimmer to go along with your tank set up. ETSS makes some good skimmers.
