So I was cleaning a canister filter....

And I found this little guy stuck to the side of the sink. Must have been in there at least 10 Minutes. No water in the sink, lucky it didn't go down the drain.


A little beat up but he seems to be doing ok.
Might have to setup a tank and purposely try to breed them now.

It's the only one I've seen, never noticed eggs or fry. There are 6 Panda Corys in 150 gallon with a 2.5 foot fire eel, 13 rummy nose tetra's and 6 serpae tetras.
I'm guessing the only reason it survived was because the egg/fry got sucked into the filter.

Very cute! Good save - the tetras are eating the eggs / fry - but it would be a great breeding project. I bet the tetras would breed also, if you put some effort into it.

Pool filter sand, its only been in there about a month which is why it still looks so white

It's hard to get good photos, anytime I'm close enough to take photos, he thinks he's being fed and gets all excited.
