I noticed that when I go to sleep at night if I lay on my left side I will just lay there for hours and think, but if I lay on my right side I don't think as much and if I lay on my back I think even less. Am I just a freak of nature or does this happen to other people? Could there be some kind of relation between the way you're positioned and how you think?

actually...... yea...... left brain thinking and right brain thinking do too different purposes....... i have a book that breaks it down but i never read it.......

Thanks MrRanger sir, I am going to try that. I am also one of the worlds greatest overthinkers. At ight when I need to sleep, that is when everything in the world comes rushing into my brain, I am going to try to sleep on my back tonight. I noticed that on weekends if I lay in bed on my stomach and watch tv, I fall asleep usually, Hmmm... I wonder if you have come across something here. I will let you know tomorrow if it worked for me.

wow so is drinking myself to sleep every night bad?

I'd rather take that than getting a mad wife the next day.

And Tank, I am just like you. It seems that's when I do all my thinking. Unfortunately I inherited my dad's bad back, so I can't stay in one position very long.

I was thinking it probably has something to do with the left brain and right brain, but it's wierd that laying on different sides would make you use different parts, ya know? And I came up with this post while trying to go to sleep last night. lol

Gotta sleep on my tummy, dunno why, but it's the only way I can fall asleep........ unless I am drunk, then anywhere and any position is fair game, lol.
