Ok I will admit, Ive stalked this forum for quite sometime and just now finally registered. I like what I see and I have much to learn from everyone here.

My name is Matt. I live in Buffalo part of the year and the other part I live in Oswego where Im majoring in zoology with a focus on evolutionary ecology at Oswego State University. I love fish period but Ive always been amazed at the larger ones. Ive kept a handful of the larger cichlids (oscars, chocolates...etc)

I look forward to getting to know everyone :nilly:

Welcome! Always good to have a future pro scientist, we have plenty of amateur scientists here! Glad to have you.

Thank ya kindly! I personally find myself to be quite the amature haha. Theres always room to grow though!

We are all about learning here. When I joined, I had a juvenile bass in a ten gallon, and a Koi in another ten gallon. Now I have 14 tanks, and the bass is a true monster. MFK not only causes the proliferation of fish, but fishkeepers as well.

I too started with a lone (and heavily overstocked) 10 gallon tank. Right before school started I had 9 tanks up and running. Ive had to downsize but its truly a passion and anything that allows me to talk/learn about fish and aquariums is a dream come true haha:headbang2

This site has not only given me great aquaria knowledge, but great friends too. I drove 9 hrs to visit some MFKers in Indiana, one of the best vacations of my life.

Welcome!!!!!!!!!
