Title says it all, going to be mainly Large cichlids. Any ideas on filtration?

Going for some jags, midas, saums, and maybe type of trimac.

Is it an overflow tank? If not...I would use a FEW canister filters....my 125 has 3 canisters on it...I would do 3 or 4 on a 240 preditor tank...Your gonna have lots of waste...lol...

I agree with Blarkarowana. I have a 125 with extremely messy inhabitants and I am keeping up with two canisters that should circulate 300 gallons plus weekly water changes. :headbang2

i think a wet dry will probably work the best
there are lots of conversion kits, if your tank is not setup
with overflows

:iagree: If you dont already have them get a couple internal overflows and make a DIY wet dry.

you can make a great wet dry with a 30 gallon tank!

Awsome, Just got back from my LFS with some price quota. When I was in the Hobby previously I made a filtration system out of a rubbermade tub with 5 or so shelves. Probly just make another.
