My name is Stacey and I like fish. I currently have a 37 gallon tank set up and I just got a new 40 gallon! I'm uber excited
I'm not sure what I'm going to put in the 40 gallon yet.
In my 37 gallon I have a parrot cichlid "Sweettooth", 2 severums "Evan" and "Bliss" (one green and one gold), 2 albino bristlenose plecos "Mijo" and "Mija", 2 female kribs (nameless), a german blue ram (nameless), a banjo cat "Pascal", 3 killifish (nameless), 3 cherry barbs (nameless), and a golden dojo loach.
I am well aware that my tank is overstocked...which is part of the reason I got another tank (the other reason is that I am addicted). Also, they aren't too cramped or anything since they are all young and small (I'm mainly talking about the parrot cichlid and the severums). I'm thinking about moving the severums and the banjo cat to the 40 gallon and getting another parrot cichlid. I was curious if I would be able to get another "main" fish when the severums are full grown. I was thinking a green terror, but I've been reading about them and I noticed that they are pretty aggressive. Would a green terror and 2 severums be okay in a 40 gallon?
Anywho..this is an introduction forum and I'm trailing a bit! I am currently a college student...majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Fish aren't the only creatures I like... I also have two cats, "Zero" and "Silas", a bunny, "Zooey", and two mice "Fiona" and "Natalie." I've always had pets, but just recently I started getting into fish/aquariums. My boyfriend introduced ,e to this addiction...this past summer I "fish-sat" his 100 gallon aquarium with 2 red-bellied pacus...after that I had to get a tank of my own. He's actually on this forum as well, bgolfer88.
That's enough about me... I need to go ask questions about my severums!
