So after being pounded by my loiselli cichlid my wolf fish finally lost his fight to stay alive. I placed him in my med tank and did everything to try and save him and i thought i did enough. He seemed fine this afternoon when i came home from work and after i got outta the shower i saw him upside down trying to flip himself back over but then he just floated. My loiselli seemed fine with him and then just flipped. Due to these events I'm tradeing the loiselli in because I cant have my other tank memebers injured or killed. I'm not sure what I'm going to do as far as getting another fish I don't know what I'm going to do. The lfs is going to be getting 3 wolf fish in friday but I may just wait. This loss upset me because like most ppl I have a list of fish i love and the wolf ranks 2nd on that list. Below is a pick of him before i wrapped him up and placed him in the trash.. Would love so opinions on what you would do?

Please take the advice that was given in your previous thread, wait until you get a bigger tank before you attempt to stock and restock. The fish that you have and want need space. Some of them are prone to conspecific aggression so having two of the same may give you more trouble down the line. There are only so many various fish that you can put in a 55 or 150gal. Don't rush out and buy another fish just to have it die or killed like so many of your fish have already. Research, carefully plan your stock, set up your tank and enjoy your fish! You need to slow down your buying. Your LFS should make you part owner from all the fish that you buy and trade with them. Sorry about your wolf, but slow down.

I've come a long way in my fish keeping as i used to have 5 tanks set up. If my wolf didnt die then the stock i had was going to be my final stock. I've come to terms that the fish i have can not be left in a tank with cichlids as they are way to unpredictable. If i do buy another wolf it will be the last fish i get for a while. Or i may just use my credit i get for my loiselli for a new fish for my ladies tank

I wanna make sure i have this right of my current stock thats left my fish will grow to be how big?

my ck i know usually hits up to 18 inches in aquariums
my jade can get up 14 ive read
and my cuda usually tops out at 9 or 10 inches.

I'm just trying to figure how long i have b4 i have to set up the 150. I hope to have pics of it next week.

U think i got a lil nuts with my fish listen to this. With everything ive had go on today i got my future cousin in law buggin me about fish because he just got into the hobby. If i have to here about him buying more fish im gonna go nuts.

+1

If the 150 really is next week, set it up before you add anything else 20's and 55 aren't enough for what you have.
