i finally decided what im going to do in my 29g...

i have about 8 baby convicts left from when my 2 adults bred (i no longer have the parents) and im going to grow them out and pick out a nice male and keep a single male convict in it... i figure it will be really cool since ive had them since they were eggs! when hes a full grown 6" adult male and someone asks me about him ill be able to say ive had him since he was an egg...

its a 29 g on a nice black pine stand with a fluval 205 canister, fluval heater, and a 2 bulb t5 light...

im going to keep it bare bottom with a nice big piece of driftwood as the centerpiece and maybe ill do a pot with some flourite in it with a plant...

would i be able to keep a chinese algae eater in there?

other than the bare bottom, sounds good to me. the CAE shoud be ok. they can get kind of aggressive sometime, but a convict should hold its own. especially if you get one smaller than your convict.
