So Ive got 2 young aro's

both the same size one is a black and one is silver both in different tanks. both at about 5 to 6 inches. Eatting perfectly. Which one should I keep? Just want to hear some oppinions please. Im leaning towards the black, but love the silver.

No brainer, keep the black. The blacks are similar to the silvers like platinum is similar to tinfoil. I can't think of a single reason why anyone would pick a silver over black, but others would disagree...

So you have one Osteoglossum ferreirai and one Osteoglossum bicirrhosum?

Definetly keep the ferreirai, less chance of DE

Ive had jars before. I was worried about it killing my other fish all the time. had to get rid of him.

I figured it was a no brainer too i love adult blacks even though most people like the juvies colors better. I wish I had the space to get a 450g like you have B and keep a couple blacks and a silver but ooo well. Maybe one day.
