Trying to think of what to stock it with. I was thinking it would make a nice home for some discus, and my LFS has some really nice Pigeon Blood and Turquoise for $24.
I know its not alot of room to work with, but i just want some nice looking fish. I have also been looking at some Geophagus Steindachneri.
Maybe a single specimen tank? Just a single mini-monster? Or a Nice show tank with Discus, congo tetras, black skirt tetras.

What would you do with this tank? Dont say wet/dry or candy bowl either.

You could probably fit a lot of pigeon blood in that tank ;). But seriously, I would put a pair of Firemouths, or a pair of breeding convicts, a couple of Blue Acaras, maybe some dwarf cichlids like rams or geos. Some people may say dwarf puffers or some tetras, neons and cories. The possibilities are endless. Have fun and good luck.

Theres two pigeon blood discus at my LFS, aswell as a turquoise blue that I'm thinking about picking up. Not sure, prety pricey.

The tank used to have a breeding pair of cons, that gold old real quick.
I was thinking about Rams, and Geos. What about a mix tank of rams/geos?

Been looking at dwarf puffers. I'm a big fan of Congo Puffers. That'd be an agressive fish to keep by itself.

If this tank was 4' long, it'd already have a female red terror.

So, I've got another question.

What cichlids could I keep in this tank Besides cons, FM's, and rams?

Are Satanaperca Daemon easily available, Would a pair work out in my tank? I'm very interested in this fish.

I'm also interested in Cryptoheros Cutteri, Hericthys deppi, Hericthys sp. 'Rio Salto'.

I just want something thats going to look good. The tanks at the foot of my bed so I want something thats good to look eat yet has some agression.

Maybe I'm just asking to much out of a tiny tank.

I wouldn't go with geo's or satanoperca as I feel they should be in groups of 4-6 and I don't feel it's enough room unless you have a tank to move them to.

I would go with discus/1 or 2 rams/tetras. But just me.

go with rams. their my new favorite fish. strange thing is, they look better viewed at an angle than straight from the side i noticed.

im surprised their not as popular as they are. given some live/frozen foods, these guys color up AMAZINGLY. the blue and golds both look great, but think i personally like the blues better. amazing looking either one.

So you think I could say, two pigeon blood discus, the turquoise, 2 blue rams, 2 blonde rams, and a school of 'larger' tetras such as Congo?
