Well, my JD's are laying eggs as I type this. Male is 4" and Female is 3" and this is their first spawn. The issue is that the male and female are both eating them almost as fast as she lays them. Is this normal? They're only leaving maybe a couple dozen on the rock at a time. I've heard of convicts eating their first or second spawn, but couldn't really find any info on JD's doing it.

Thanks,

Cool, thanks. There's still a couple dozen transperant eggs on the rock, but they've totally abandoned the nest site. Guess I'll see if they get it right next time. :)
