Awesome! He is colored up like a red spotted green discus. Gorgeous fish!
That coloration must be coming from the red spotted guttulatus, but otherwise he certainly doesn't show much of the vieja traits.

Not sure what type of vieja the mom was. But dad is a stunner gb. Will try to get pics later. This one was bred by a friend in vietnam.

He's the only one that was born like this. The rest were dull/ some started to fade at 3" but nothing come as close as this guy.

Me too, was thinking of trying to breed him but who knows haha. Will definitely update if i ever do though.
Lol wish I could get myself a male like that for my girl here. Been trying to find a male for her locally but so far no luck. Personally I think he would've been a perfect match for her color wise. Here's a pic of her if your curious to see what she looks like lol. She's just a regular ZZ Red Dragon fader so nothing special like yours is.
