Have always wanted one of these but everytime ive gone to get one theve always been sick. Went to another LFS today and they had great condition ones. Will post some pics in a bit once hes had a little time to settle.
Had a couple questions though....
His tankmates are Ornate,Ansorgii,Delhezi and flordia Gar. So far i see no agression but are these mates good in a 125?
Also the substrate is sand is this alright for the polleni?

Thanks

Sweet. things "might" get tight with the florida and all the bichirs, so becareful with that. They should be fine with each other though. Sand is great for virtually every fish so its fine

Thanks, the gar is full grown now but all the bichirs are still only tiny from 3inches to like6-7 inches, so i have lots of room so far but as of now the polleni seems preety freaked out. Hes just up in the top corner cowarding. Mind you where i got him they had him in the size of a little fish bowl if not smaller so he might be a little freaked out by all the space its got now. I tried putting some floating plants around him and a floating log to enclose the space for him a little more. Plus he just got put in like 2 hours ago so im sure its also still just getting use to its new enviroment.

He are just a couple pics i got of him while its still in the bag and one out but i probley wont have more untill later tonight or tomorrow.

keep an idea on aggression, most partilapia I've seen don't particularly go well with top dwelling fish (like the gar)

Is it the Gar you are worried about or the Polleni? I know over the years ive had the gar with absolutly "everything" and he doesnt bother a thing. Any other suggestions or comments would be nice. Im going to try and take some more pics now.

I'm worried about the gar not the polleni.

Alrighty well ill make sure to keep an eye on that one. The gar is preety dosile so hopefully the polleni doesnt need to feel threatend by him or anything. Thanks for the comment.
