Just for fun. What is the most you have ever spent on a single poly?

For me it broke down to $185 for the fish with an additional $75 in shipping for a wc Koliba lap

One more question... Would you pay more, IF an online vendor offered pictures of the fish you were going to buy? Basically what you see in the picture is the fish you were getting.

For me yes, I would be willing to pay a little more to see the fish I was getting.

Okay so lets hear your answers...

$85 + $50 shipping for the WC Congicus is my new record- definitely not off the deepend.

And yes, I would totally ratchet up my spending if I had photos before-hand... I'd also be a lot more stressed during shipment since you have the opportunity to kind of emotionally invest in the fish once you've seen it :) (I'm a softy ok?!)

You will spend more on your next one, lol. We all eventually do.

Ive seen on some Asian online catalogs where they put pics up of the fish you are buying. Depending on the quality and various factors like color, pattern and what not, would effect the price. But I will say I never thought of the emotional bond formed by the picture.... ;)

Oh no doubt, I don't think any of the ones I'm missing in my collection have a cheap version ;)

Haha maybe "emotion" was the wrong word to use, but (at least) I would get more invested in the safe arrival of the fish if I had already been somewhat introduced to that individual
