Well I lost my favorite fish last night in my 90 gallon (see my other thread
). My GT was murdered while the lights were off. No scales were missing or fin damage, only a mark on her gill plate. So maybe she died quick with one big shot...who knows. Anyway I have to figure out what I'm gona do.
Stock NOW is:
2 pleco's - 10" runs the tank and 6" is a wimp. looking to get rid of both and get a smaller species (thats for another thread)
6"+ female JD
4 1/2" male Firemouth
Tank set-up:
90 gallon "All Glass" Aquarium
2 Anubias Nana
1 Anubias Barteri
Lots of large driftwood
Rockwork
2 AC 110 HOB filters
2 AC 50 Powerheads
The JD is a BIG girl, very beefy and only backs down from the big pleco, while the FM just tries to fit in and holds his own very well. Now I'm considering three options...1) Get a good sized MALE GT to replace her (4-6" or so), 2) Get a male JD to pair with my female, or 3) Get a big Salvini i saw a few weeks ago (might not have it anymore but I gotta find out)
.... so let me know what you'd do
