I like them because there mild mannered , they grow large but not too large or too fast and have a great personality . Oh yea they are beautiful

If you don't like them, than there isn't anything anybodys going to say thats going to make them interesting to you. Like with most fish, you either like them or not. It's all a matter of taste

I personally like Datnioididae and hate all Cichlidae (except for the genus Cyathopharynx). But thats just me

i have a gang of bichirs and i like em cuz they look cool. and a black arow cuz hes slick.. but im looking for midwater fishes who are active. i might get a few and see whats up with them.
