So who can tell me what this guy is?

I am pretty sure he is some type of Hap, but I can not seem to find him when searching. I would love it if someone who identify him for me so I can get some info thanks best shots I could get tonight he was not coming out

Lake Victoria. Looks like Astatotilapia sp. Red Tail

It's a Victorian cichlid called Haplochromis Obliquidens AKA species 44 or thick skin hap.

i would say obliquidens(not zebra obliquidens the regular morph), but im not perfect with my victorians.

Most likely a Hap sp 44. I would be easier to tell if you got a pic out in the open. I think we all have it figured out though.

No problem. It's very common to mistaken the Haplochromis obliquidens with the [FONT=arial,sans-serif][SIZE=-1]Astatotilapia latifasciata. Mainly because they are both mistakenly listed as [/SIZE][/FONT]obliquidens.
