I have fed my cichla, dats, tig, loaches a consistent diet of Hikari sinking carnivore pellets and Omega One shrimp sinking pellets. I decided to buy some NLS sinking pellets and Ken's soft/moist sinking pellets. Well, most of them ignored to new pellets even as I fed them the carnivore pellets at the same setting. This went on for almost 12 days, I was going to give up. But, I figured out a solution:

I premixed the new pellets in with alot of carnivore pellets in an airtight container and the crumbled pieces coated the new pellets. It worked! I believe the smell did the trick!

Just thought I'd share.
