what happens when you spill during a water change or have an accident?? does your wife or husband/gf or bf/ or parents drop an PMS-bomb when you spill, drip or forget about the hose in a bucket?

also have you ever stained or ruined your carpet or flooring from you tanks?

i spill very rarely now, but when i do my dad dont care he just tells me to clean it up, my carpet is stained from past water changes and accidents  , my mom on the other hand would tear me a new one .

now lets hear those stories!!! :clap

No problems really,Ive got hard wood floors upstairs and concrete in the basement. The only time I got yelled at by my wife is when the python was knocked out of the tank(by our youngest one)when I was fillin it up for the first time.I wasnt rigt there to grab it (I had to go to the rest room,I thought it would be OK)So it put about 3 to 4 gals. on the floor in our dinning room.Well that was the end of having fish tanks upstairs.Whataya gonna do,I lost that battle real quick.

I dont get in trouble,

because I dont tell them LOL.

Just close the bedroom door for a few hours while I race around drying carpet.

IF any water get's spilled and shot it the nutz you get say's the old man!!.......... :nutkick:

parents dont say anything about it but how can water stain carpet?

yellowish spot's ???

If I drop so much as ONE DROP of water on the carpet or tile, I get my ass chewed out. Never mind that the carpet is, to me, over three years old, so it is old now, and the tile is stained from the dogs' drool. Apparently fish tank water is the worst. Go fig.
