soak hyacith in fluke tabs?

was talking with a friend earlier and he told me each spring, he soaks the new aquatic plants in water treated with fluke tabs for 24 hrs. i buy new water hyacith each year and just thrown it in. should i soak mine?

So many are going to echo Muske, but it's cheap insurance against some severe problems that you may only discover when you take your fish out for their check-up.

Yea it's def. good as an insurance measure. Be sure to QT your fish though.
