I'll be in california next week and was wondering if there are any awsome aquarium shops around Palm Springs - San Diego area?

that's a lot of ground to cover, Palm Springs and San Diego really aren't very close to each other.

there are a couple awesome LFS in San Diego. and some OK LFS in the City of Riverside. i don't really know about Palm Springs.. it's not easy to get to or to navigate through, so i just don't go there unless i can't avoid it.

In San Diego I would go to Petkingdom in point loma and Aquatic warehouse in clairemont. Theres also Fountains in La Mesa.

I live in San Diego.

We have

-Fountains - one of the best, but the employees are hermits with little social skills
-Pet Kingdom - My favorite so far. They sell everything. I got a Johanna and Flyer Cichlid from them the other day. Very helpful and friendly.
-Pet Zone - Owned by an Asian couple. Got 2 green Severums from them the other day for $25 total. Very nice people. Very clean, crisp healthy tanks. But their supply is limited. They do carry a lot of Flowerhorns.
-Goldfish World - Lots of fish. Not the greatest variety though. Health wise, they could do a little better. The people are nice and very helpfull.
-Fish Haven - Lots of fish. Lots of variety. But Pricey and the owner kind of stingy.
-Tri City Tropical Fish - havent been there since they moved. Cant comment
-Encinitas Tropical Fish - Not been there, but they are horrible over the phone.

These are all in San Diego county

Thanks for coming by! How are your fishes doing so far??

LOL. Didnt think I would see you here. :D

They are doing really well. I was really glad I found you and stopped by. I had been looking for Severums for a little while big enough to go in my tank.
They are eating and look great.

Thanks.
