I have a 340 gallon African Cichlid (Haps & peacocks) tank which is located in my garage. Normally tank Temps are about 83 degrees. However, during this heat wave (90+ degrees) the tank is also around the same temp. Over the last several weeks I have lost at least 4-5 fish. I'm thinking of freezing a small bucket (1/2 gallon) water and placing it in the tank. Would that make tank too cold too fast. Or would it not be enough.

Your thoughts and suggestions.

THANKS
