im looking for some good lfs in la that carry some rare & exotic tropical fishes.
most of them only carry the usual loaches, barbs, gourimis & etc. so please state
what you think is the best lfs in ur opinion and if possible please give me a website
link/number/address. :)

does anyone know the tropical fish store in la called "fumi's tropical fish" ?
im looking for a guy that use to work there named kc(casey) but he changed
his number and quit working there. i heard he opened his own store and
wanna visit him but have no way of contacting him and thought ill ask on
here since it is a fish forum:)

"RARE AND EXOTIC" as in what species?

every and all kinds :) so far only good lfs thats still open till this day is one near me that carries bichirs/eels/aros some other neat fishes like knife fishes & etc. but they dont stock up on them often =/

^which lfs?

i go to fumis pretty often, was kc the white guy with the ponytail? he's pretty chill.

i frequent south bay aquarium. their live stock are w/e but overall a good store. the owner there gives me big discounts all the time so i go there usually to buy food & other dry goods like decors and etc.

no kc was the former worker that was tatted down fat mexican guy but really knowledgeable about many things.

fumi's tropical fish in Granada Hills? that place is a dump.

check out Rainbow Pet Store in Arleta, i'm not into the freshwater fish anymore but they have a bad ass 500g discus display tank

no we're talking about the fumi's tropical fish in la but i didn know they one in granda hills

check out aquarium world/aquatic outlet (same place) they use to have have a blacktip shark and stuff as display in a huge tank but its filled with rays and etc. a nice place to just go and check out or get some salt water fishes & dry goods. the owner is a old asian man but that store is on a different level compared to the usual lfs around la.
