Existing behaviour exhibited by small groups of fish :)

They ought to be able to live in 6-foot 300gal tank where 5-10 of them should be enough to get them showing their group behaviour...

  1. clown loaches
  2. channa pleuropthalma
  3. oscars (can they still be kept, together when adults?)
  4. giraffe catfish
  5. piranha RBB and caribe
  6. silver dollar
  7. asellus uffer(fails on size)
  8. dimidiochromis comressiceps

Add anything to the list by all means, and thanks :D

Are you asking which one out of the list to keep a group of? Im confused lol

that is in no way my intention, i'm just looking for options, mostly looking for some sort of social cat, and whatever i might have missed.

depends on the other tank mates you plan on having, if your looking for a catfish i've kept a group of pictus catfish and they do very well in groups

pictus and petricola I think are going to be too small looking for something 10-20'' (dwarf giraffe cat?),, im not entirely sure about what the other inhabitants will be, but I'm looking for 3-4 groups of fish and maybe I'll put in 1 - 2 single male cichlids to.

Clown loaches are going to be one of the groups, don't know how well oscars do togeather when adults(have 4 12'ish inch oscars now, and one is becoming more of a bully), I'll probably do a dick move and choose one of the single cichlid males to be big enough to prevent them from breeding to keep aggression down...
