So, being the jerk he is, my lei is always harrassing my other fish. The datnoid he lives with is no push over and always pushes the aro away. When he does this, he opens his mouth and pushes/bites the aro right on the soft part of his gill. It now has a couple of tears on it that seem to be healing, but will it heal properly? There is no damage to the hard gill plate, just the trasnsparent soft part. Do I need to cut the soft membrane back and let it regrow to its original state? Like a gill curl operation?
