It is only a baby. It's got good color potential I can see colors already. It's gonna have a bubble head for sure.

Full flower line, full colors, obvious potential for a bubble head. Fins are normal. Nothing is bad about him.

FHs need to grow up into adults to show fully what they got. Their heads get huge as adults. This one is a guaranteed kokster

I hope your right but i doubt hes anything more than mid grade. Miami is absolutely horrible for flowerhorns. I dont know why people dont breed high grade flowerhorns here or import them. Ive gone all over miami for years looking for any with potential and this is the first one that had even the slightest bit of potential. I wish he had more pearling but he has none.

The worst part is i finally have a fh with somewhat potential and where one would say oh just good food for color and hump growth im stuck because he doesnt want to eat anything but frozen blood worms. :(

having pearls doesnt mean it's a higher grade.

Some pearly fish look like crap and some no no pearls look top notch.

Pearls are a preference to me. I like a certain one with pearls and another certain one with out any pearls..

If the one I want no pearls on and it got pearls, that's a fail for me.. And if one got really nice pearls but something isn't right to me then I'd rather not have it..
So Pearls or this or that is personal preference. Pearls are nice though. But vibrant colors is just as good or better than pearls and no colors.
If you like pearls on this fish, then U got yourself the wrong fish

It was just a personal preference. Doesnt mean i think hes crap with no pearling. I like his colors hes odd. It unbelievable how hard it was just to get this one. Just gotta work on the eating part. Would a mirror be better or a male tank mate with divider?

I would use a mirror a few minutes a day. Leave it on there all the time and he will eventually ignore it. Another male will probably stress him out.

Will have at least a semi kok, should have a nice facial structure on him when he gets older. I like him, doesn't matter on the grade. Besides Red Dragons look better with no pearling.

I like the blue pearling on the back of mine! Personal preference.
