I love it but I'm afraid I can't take the best care of him. Montreal Area only. 4.5 inches and eats like there is no tomorrow *FUN!*.

PM me for serious buyer.

Don't get all freaked out. Turtles are very hardy animals and the one you have should be ok. I just got a baby softshell turtle myself named Donatello and I think he's cool as hell. I bought him a small piece of floating cork wood and put it in the tank and he climbs up on top of it and basks in the light of my tank. He swims to the bottom of the tank and eats the snails and pellets I put in there. When he gets bigger I'll put him in my bichir tank and he'll hang with them from there. Your turtle should be just fine. Get him a piece of floating cork wood and some fake plants that you can put on the top of the tank so that he can rest on top of whenever he doesn't feel like being in the water and you should be just fine.

I figured that after reading threads, but there are some of those dudes on this forum that freaked me out. You know...? Like I don't care for the well being of my animals.

everyone says that.... you always need something bigger or better or your doing it wrong... dont worry about it

I would keep him. In my opinion with these guys, just give him clean water and a place to bask, he should be okay.
