Soft shell with mild fungus

Hello,
What have you guy's did to cure and or prevent fungus? I keep my turtle in a 240. They have resting dock...I notices small patch on white fungus on one of them... I treated with salt and placed in 20 gallon with very shallow water adn uv light...seems to have helped after two days.

Does the turtle have a basking light above the resting dock? Without heat above it, they won't be able to dry off properly, which can cause fungus to take hold.
