softshell turtles breeding

any tips guys? the one on top was mine and the other one was just a stray turtle roaming around from a friend's yard and then we put it in my tank and the unexpected happened


do you think they are both male? or both female? how do you determine the sex through its tail? coz they are like of the same length

they are coupling...get her a box with sand and a way to climb thereon...

the problem is...i think they are both males can any give me any photos distinction of a male and female tail?

I've never seen that in turtles...I don't believe it would work...and they were coupling in those pix..
