J Jaramillo12 Sorry you didn't get what you wanted. Just thought I'd mention that their pricing is close and that Pterodoras granulosus is an interesting fish in its own right and won't reach 3'-4' that Oxydoras niger would, which makes it much, much, much easier to house. It probably won't exceed 2'-2.5' over its lifetime, which spans several decades.
Just like niger, granulosus don't need to hide, which is a huge plus say over their cousins Megalodoras uranoscopus aka irwini catfish or giant raphael catfish. Granulosus are less active, less swimming than niger, which are foraging seems to be 24/7 (they take a few hours of rest in the morning), which again can be a plus in the aforementioned enclosure size department.
