Yeah he got pretty spoiled eating fresh raw shrimp and would stick his nose up at any pellets I put in. Finally...I treated him just like you would your kid who doesn't want to eat what you made for dinner....You go hungry lol. Finally after about 4 days or so and a change to Omega one Pellets he started to gobble them up. Now he loves them!

Yeah the Pygo's are often kept in groups unlike the Serra's. I debated on getting a shoal of 5 or 6 of them but this 60g was the largest tank I could fit in the one spot left in the house that I could fit another tank lol and wouldnt have more room for at least a year so I didnt want the tank to get too cramped as these guys grow fairly quickly. SO I decided I would try and raise one feisty, non shy little bulldog in a tank to himself. I think it has brought out a lot of personality. And hes still quite young!
 
Looks great, I had a lone Caribe a few years back, they do great alone with all that attitude I prefer them to lone blacks tbh.
