Hey all, I recently found a vendor that has some w/c juvi Marmorata for sale apox 4 to 5" I'm looking forward to setting up a solo tank & will be ordering one in near future, any & all advice on these guys will help, thx

I would recommend that you get a small group. Minimum four of not more. Raise them until they pair off and give them a 6x2x2 tank minimum. You can Mia with larger deep bodied heroine cichlids like severums, chocolates, or true parrots. Can also get a large armore catfish.
Provide plenty of cover in the form of wood, rocks, and plants. Keep the water at 80-84. pH is unimportant unless you’re trying to breed them. These are one of the few lugubris pikes spawned in captivity. Wayne Leibel bred them in a 75.
