Somalian giant catfish or Paradiglanis tarabinii

Okay. I know it gets too 2ft 7 inches and that it is Somolian and the only pics I can find are a drawn stamp and a preserved specimen.

I am wondering if anybody can help in finding more info for me. I am still looking of course. I would like to pics of live specimens and accounts of its feeding and other habits in nature and or aquarium.

Not sure if you've seen the pics someone posted on flickr or not, but they are awesome! cool fish. Too bad we will likely never see it in the hobby. I'll ask around and see what I can find out for you. I have some pull in high places when it comes to catfish knowledge

Yah I ve seen the flickr photos, I haven't been able to find a "fresher" specimen pic.
It just seems like there isn't too much info known about them.

Necro I hope your friends in high places have knowledge they're willing to share.
